I finally got around to updating this! While it was good to publish the first version - as it was the first game I ever published, here or elsewhere - I was never really satisfied with how it came together. Some of the things I liked more (the scenario in the intro fiction, the idea of using what's around you (real or imaginary) as inspiration, the idea of occasionally approaching more mature themes through a cosier framework) didn't really pan out, partly because I felt like I had to be overly soft with the game and partly because I didn't have time to put everything together with the self-imposed deadline.

In this version I fixed that and rebuilt the game around the pretty easy choice of Together Among the Stars by Takuma Okada. It's a bit more complicated than that game, but simpler than version 1, and with better art. That said, I've left version 1 up, still available for download.
