Just released v2.2! This has a bunch of changes and a new filetype (EPUB).

Main changes:

• added a "Figures" oracle if you want ideas for people Writer and Translator might meet in their day-to-day lives—writers, labourers, government officials of the old and new countries, and more
• removed dice mechanics; now each player just writes 1–6 lines/footnotes per turn
• replaced Game Tools sidebar section with a "Generator" in the text, after the oracles, which grabs a random entry from any oracle you pick
• new settings and different setting options:
  • Theme: various changes to bookwove theme; changes to covers in dark and bookwove themes
  • Text Width: only 2 settings: fixed and full-width
  • Font: added mono-spaced font setting
  • Italics: replaced "asterisks" and "slashes" with a combined "punctuated" option with different punctuation wrapping different elements; replaced "highlights" with "marked" option with different colour styling for different elements
  • Paragraphs and Text Alignment: combined into a single setting (indented, justified paragraphs vs spaced, left-aligned paragraphs)
  • new Line Height setting: standard and spaced
  • new Game Pieces setting: icons and text
  • new Footnote Markers setting: superscript and regular
• rewrote a few things (the example page appendix, a few parts of character creation/play rules)
• added a bunch more footnotes

One other big, but unseen change is to the underlying code, which is now a bit more space-efficient and well-written (so despite the new features and content the v2.2 file's just slightly bigger than v2.1).

There's also an EPUB file for people who prefer ebooks! It's a bit more basic in style than the HTML file and doesn't have the interactive stuff like the contents sidebar, settings, or generator, but it does have whatever extra features your reader app has.

Next thing is figuring out if there's any way to make print CSS work properly so the HTML file can be printed as a simple, but well-formatted zine. I tried to get this working for v2.2, but the browser support just doesn't seem to be there yet.
